About Jennifer
The focus of my practice as a trial attorney is to represent people who have been hurt as the result of a car accident or due to the negligence of a business in having a defective and/or dangerous condition on their premises. I also represent people in family law cases such as adoption, divorces, and child custody issues.
I grew up in Mt. Juliet and graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. After graduation, I was employed by the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a claims examiner and then subsequently worked for the Wilson County Sheriff's Department as a post-certified deputy before entering law school. While attending the Nashville School of Law, I worked as a legal assistant for J. Stephen Brown P.C., and have practiced there since graduating in 2007.
I believe that my prior career experience provides me with invaluable knowledge and experience in understanding the vast impact that my clients' injuries have on them and their families. I am determined, perceptive, compassionate, and detail-oriented in my representation of my clients.
I served as the President of the 15th Judicial Bar Association and am a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Tennessee Association for Justice.
I also volunteer with Tennessee Online Justice and the United Way as an allocations committee member.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children as well as playing golf, softball, cooking, or being at the beach.
